Join Debbie Kornberg for a fun and interactive 1.5 hr. cooking class where participants are in their kitchen and Deb is in hers. Through guided step by step instruction, we will each prepare a ready to serve meal. Participants will learn how to use spices, discover the health benefits of them and pick up a few food hacks along the way! Spice It Up with Deb: A Live Cooking Experience is a great way to connect with your families and bring community together. Debbie will provide your Zoom login, shopping list of ingredients and recipes so everyone can get cooking!

Debbie’s enthusiasm for spices began at an early age in her grandmother’s kitchen. She used these experiences as a catalyst to experiment with new flavors and eventually launch her own spice company, SPICE + LEAF. Prior to SPICE + LEAF, Debbie owned and operated The Spice Way San Diego for over five years. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, Debbie is a master teacher and passionate about educating people how to use spices, in easy to follow recipes, to create more flavorful food adaptable to any diet or picky palate. Debbie has presented SPICE + LEAF Gift Sets on behalf of GBK Products’ Gift Lounge at the Emmy Awards, Grammy Awards and at the Oscar Awards. In addition to teaching weekly Spice It Up with Deb: A Live Cooking Experience workshops, Debbie is a regular contributor on Fox 5 San Diego Morning News and has collaborated with Fortune 500 Companies, Schusterman Family Foundation, Leichtag Foundation, JNF USA, Hadassah, and Delicious Israel, among many others across the United States. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Jewish Theological Seminary of America and a Bachelor of Arts in History & Judaic Studies from University of California San Diego.

Please visit www.arza.org and https://www.facebook.com/pg/ARZAUS/posts/ to learn more about ARZA and its important work.
To support this effort, all members of the Temple Sinai Israel Action Committee and the Board of Trustees have, as a family, become ARZA members. Individual ARZA membership is $50/family.
To become a member, make a $50 check payable to Temple Sinai and write ARZA in the notation portion of the check OR, click on DONATE on this website and find, on the drop down box, – ARZA MEMBERSHIP – (not Endowment Fund). It might be quicker and easier to join through the website.
