Introduction to Judaism is an engaging 18 session course for adults interested in exploring Jewish life through a Reform lens. Open to all, this course is designed for interfaith couples, adults raising Jewish children, spiritual seekers, individuals considering conversion, and Jews who want a meaningful adult Jewish learning experience.  Wherever you are on your journey with Judaism, this class is designed to be a safe and welcoming place for you to explore. Our programs welcome people from all backgrounds and are LGBTQ-friendly. 

Topics include holidays, life cycle celebrations, core beliefs, prayer, the Bible and other sacred texts, history, antisemitism and the Holocaust, Israel, the North American Jewish experience, and the diversity of the Jewish people today.

Introduction to Judaism will be taught by area clergy from Congregation B'nai Jeshurun, Temple Emanu-El, Temple Sholom, and Temple Sinai.  All classes will be held at Temple Sinai at 208 Summit Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901.

 Classes are on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00pm: January 10,17, 24, 31 -  February 7, 14, 28 - March 7, 14, 21, 28 -
April 11, 18, 25 - May 2, 9, 16, 23.
